Kansas Home Security Alarm Monitoring Q&A

Are wireless home security alarms any good? I am interested in installing a wireless home security alarm as they are easier to install than wired. Are they any good? Which are the best makes? Any negatives to be aware of?
Hi Rab, There's pros & cons. I have installed a "Securistyle" wireless system, as I used to act as a minor local agent through my company, so got a big box full of freebies. Oh most of it seems to be fitted at home now, but it would not have been too ... [full answer]
How much for a good home security system? What do I need for a basic home security system. I don't want anything elaborate as I live in a "safe" area. I want something like a remote operated button that my elderly mom can push in an event someone breaks in. A loud alarm that will go off both inside and outside to "scare" any robbers and alert her neighbors.
Wireless security system is very good for more details just go to this site http://homesecuritysystemsusa.info
How can I replace batteries in my ADT home security system? How can I replace batteries in my ADT home security system? please be specific and detail. I am not any mechanical geek. Thank you very much for your help (or your attempts to help).
Find your security panel. Should be a small metal box possibly with ADT written on it. Open the box. Disconnect the positive & negative (red & black) leeds from the old battery and hook them up to the new battery. Red to red > black to black. Close the panel door. Voila! Done! :)
