Hawaii Home Security Alarm Monitoring Q&A

How can I replace batteries in my ADT home security system? How can I replace batteries in my ADT home security system? please be specific and detail. I am not any mechanical geek. Thank you very much for your help (or your attempts to help).
Find your security panel. Should be a small metal box possibly with ADT written on it. Open the box. Disconnect the positive & negative (red & black) leeds from the old battery and hook them up to the new battery. Red to red > black to black. Close the panel door. Voila! Done! :)
What home security company would you recommend ? I live in quiet neighbourhood. Want to install some security system as in a month my family is going on vacation. Thanks in advance.
Brinks Home Security. By the way...you are in the wrong section. This is Computer Security...not Home Security.
What home security system is best and why? ADT, Brinks, Slomin, etc.... who is the best and why? Please help decide which security system to purchase. Thanks! I mean seriously..... which security company should I use? No dogs... no walls.... ELECTRONIC SYSTEM.
