Florida Home Security Alarm Monitoring Q&A

How much money does a consultant for a home security systems company usually make in a month? I have been offered a job promoting ADT security systems. The job would involve me giving these away to promote the company. I was told that per system given away, I would make between $200 and $300 depending on the number of systems sold per month. I was also told that on average, I would be selling one system per day. I was wondering if someone in the consulting business could tell me if this sounded accurate.
As an ADT Tect I say that’s about right. According on you sells record you could make more. And if you are really good they may ask you to move to commercial sales. And that’s where you could make the big bucks.
Can anyone recommend a good camera for home security? I am certain someone is coming in my home when I'm asleep and at work, but have no way to prove this. I woke up last night to someone running out of my bedroom but have no idea how they got in or out of my house. Unless I can prove this is happening people are going to start doubting my credibility. I need a good surveillance camera to put in my home preferably one that works in the dark and doesn't have any visible lights so that the intruder doesn't realize he's being filmed. Does anyone have any suggestions?

How many door/window contacts does my home security system need? Most of the plans say that they come with 2 or 3 contacts. I know that each door will need one, but I thought that all of the windows were supposed to have them too.
Yes the windows should have one too. Also, dun forget the garage or store room entrances too. Ideally you should get a qualified security personnel to do an assessment on the security systems to put in place in your house, this way you won't missed out anything. Not sure where ... [full answer]
